Agostino Filippone is a partner with Chokshi Filippone Law, LLC. He enjoys providing the focused, experienced, and dedicated counseling his clients deserve. After gaining extensive experience through his roles with corporate partners since 2006, Agostino originally opened Filippone Law, LLC. Now expanding, the firm has evolved into Chokshi Filippone Law, LLC. He understands the value of hard work, having worked full-time at a national insurance carrier while attending graduate school. After receiving his law degree, he practiced as a corporate attorney with one of the largest legal funding providers in the United States.
Agostino received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Knox College, Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Master of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business, and a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas School of Engineering. During law school, he was News Editor for the Consumer Law Review and wrote several articles as a member of its Executive Board.
Agostino is licensed to practice law in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Attorney Filippone is a strong supporter of community service and a proud member of several Chicagoland area programs, including Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, CARPLS, and as a Board Member of Junior Achievement. Attorney Filippone was Director of the Evanston Library Legal Help Desk, which provided information and resources to assist low to moderate income individuals with legal issues. Agostino enjoys mentoring undergraduate students at Loyola University Chicago as part of the school's mentorship program as well as speaking downtown at City Hall events through the office of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection. He is also a Commissioner with the Village of Mount Prospect, serving on the Planning and Zoning Board, and a proud graduate of the Mount Prospect Police Department Citizens Police Academy.
